SEA Prime company of the SEA Group which, with the Milano Prime brand, is a leader in the management of Business Aviation airports in Italy and in Europe, managed over 700 business aviation movements at Linate and Malpensa Prime during the Italian Formula 1 Gran Prix between Thursday 9th and Monday 12th September, with over 100 aircraft in night stop between Saturday and Sunday.
The reported increase in the number of spectators present on the circuit over the weekend (over 336 thousand compared to the 200 thousand of the record edition of 2018) was accompanied by an increase in movements managed by SEA Prime of 54% compared to 2019; 75% of managed air traffic has been international.
Linate Prime hosted the helicopter shuttle operated by Elilombarda with 122 movements from and to the circuit, a service much appreciated by passengers to reach the racing circuit easily. From Linate airport also took off the aircraft of the Presidency of the Republic of Italy and the acrobatic patrol for the spectacular display before the start of the Grand Prix.
Milano Prime confirms to be an important gateway to international sporting events in the city of Milan, which include the Champions League, the basketball Euroleague and the forthcoming Nations League.
