Phenom 100EV avionics upgrades

These enhancements include Emergency Descent Mode, Graphical Weight and Balance, ADS-B In, Coupled Go-Around, TOLD, and PERF, among others

In 2020, Embraer delivered a series of avionics enhancements to the most advanced entry-class jet in the world, the Phenom 100EV. These enhancements include Emergency Descent Mode, Graphical Weight and Balance, ADS-B In, Coupled Go-Around, TOLD, and PERF, among others. These latest product upgrades are centered on pilot experience. As a single-pilot certified aircraft, the Phenom 100EV is designed to exceed the expectations of discerning owner-pilots.

Originally introduced on the Phenom 300E, the new avionics load for the Phenom 100EV consists of a hardware update to the acclaimed Garmin G3000 Prodigy Touch avionics suite, offering even more processing power and enhanced resolution displays, as well as a new software update. As a result, Emergency Descent Mode, Graphical Weight and Balance, ADS-B In, Coupled Go-Around, TOLD, and PERF are just a few of the new baseline features now being delivered on the Phenom 100EV. New optional features include FAA Datacomm, Garmin Flight Charts, and IRF/VFR Enroute Charts.

Since the first delivery of the Phenom 100 in 2008, Embraer has introduced more state-of-the-art features to the entry-level jet class than any other OEM, including an enhanced takeoff package in 2010, increased payload in 2012, new interior collections and multifunction spoilers in 2013, a standard Synthetic Vision System in 2015, and more speed, thrust, and enhanced safety with the entry into service of the Phenom 100EV in 2017.

Today, the Phenom 100EV is the greenest dual-engine aircraft in business aviation, benefitting from the widest and tallest cabin, best baggage compartment, highest maximum payload capability, and best entry-door in its class. With over 390 units in operation, the Phenom 100 is the most delivered entry-level jet of the last decade.

The Phenom 100 EV features modified Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F1-E engines, with 1,730 pounds of thrust, reaching a 406 ktas high speed cruise and up to 15% more thrust at hot-and-high airports than its predecessor, which equates to more range and a faster time to climb. The aircraft has a four-occupant range of 1,178 nautical miles (2,182 km), with NBAA IFR reserves. The pilot-friendly cockpit enables single-pilot operation, with situational awareness enhanced by the advanced man-machine interface of the touchscreen-controlled Prodigy Touch flight deck, based on the Garmin G3000, now with Emergency Descent Mode, Graphical Weight and Balance, TOLD, and PERF.

The Phenom 100 EV is the evolution of the roomiest aircraft in its class, with interior enhancements, such as a straight-line floor sill design to increase the aisle area and conveniently located power outlets with USB chargers. The aircraft features eleven interior design collections highlighted by abundant natural light from large windows, even in the private rear lavatory, a feature typically only seen in larger aircraft, as well as a refreshment center, integrated air stair, and the best baggage compartment in its class.
