Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG), an acclaimed designer and manufacturer of high-end cabin comfort systems, announced the delivery of a newly completed AW-139 helicopter to a US-based customer, represented by aviation consultant, The VanAllen Group.
This AW-139 helicopter is equipped with the latest technology and is the first US-registered AW-139 with Leonardo Helicopters’ newly certified Honeywell Primus Epic Phase 8 avionics. MAG installed the first Honeywell RDR-7000 weather radar system on an AW-139 as well as provisions for the SKYTRAC SDL-350 system.
“MAG installed the VVIP luxury cabin interior with its SILENS sound-damping interior panels and the proprietary I-FEEL Cabin Management System,” said Massimo Pugnali, President of MAG’s Bensalem MRO and completion facility. “Along with the interior, MAG customized the AW-139 with exterior cameras, sun visors, crew iPads, and additional USB charging points to provide unprecedented comfort and function.
From our Repair Station and Completion Center, MAG provides customers with multiple options and configurations for their cabin interiors. Customers can choose from a variety of finishings and seating arrangements with options, including: The In-Flight Entertainment Enhanced Lounge (I-FEEL) Cabin Management System features an internal Wi-Fi system, Moving Maps, Audio/Video Functions, Ambient Light Controls, and ICS Isolation, all of which may be controlled from the user’s paired smart device or smartwatch.
- Electro-Chromic Window Controls that fade from clear to full tint and are controlled by a paired smart device or smartwatch to provide a tailor-made environment.
- A Speech Interference Level Enhanced Noise System (SILENS) interior panels with a limousine-style privacy window provides a cabin so quiet passengers can have conversations without wearing headsets.
- Large central and aft-facing cabinets for storage, monitors that retract into the console, and customizable options for the owner’s needs.
