Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) has signed a partnership agreement with CTT, a Swedish specialist on humidity control products for aviation to equip the ACJ TwoTwenty with a state of the art cabin humidification system. The signature took place at EBACE, the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Geneva.
The cabin air humidifier system raises the cabin humidity during cruise to a comfortable, ground-like level. This helps maintain the body’s moisture balance and improve the quality of rest and sleep for passengers and crew, so they can arrive feeling refreshed and healthy. Proper air humidification is especially important on long-haul flights to prevent passengers and crew from suffering from dry-air-induced fatigue, dry eyes and impaired sense of taste, as well as to prevent immune system degradation.
This humidifier system is already available as part of ACJ TwoTwenty cabin catalogue. CTT humidifier system also includes a drying system ensuring that water condensation on the inside aircraft structure, in electronics and in the cabin is minimised.
ACJ is already offering the CTT humidifier on the ACJ319/320neo fleet, since May 2022.
