On November 5, the Ministry of Transport issued an air transport license to a new aircraft operator Union Aviation. The company operates in the business air transportation segment all over the world, but has chosen Latvia as its base location.
Gained operating license allows air carrier to perform commercial flights all over the world. The company's fleet currently includes the most popular aircraft types in the charter industry, such as 650, Gulfstream G150, Nextant 400Xti and Piaggio Avanti EVO. The fleet is planned to be expanded to meet the increased demand for business flights.
Union Aviation was founded by Amber Jet Group, Taurus Jet and Mono, which have extensive experience in the aviation and finance segment.
Presently the accumulated experience covers such areas as aircraft sale and acquisition, operation and maintenance of aircraft, as well as of other business aviation related services. The company intends to expand its activity in these areas, and sees its qualified workforce in Riga as a critical condition for growth.
