Nova Capital fleet passes 100 aircraft with $65m H145 acquisition

Nova Capital, the European independent helicopter and aircraft lessor, has announced the award of a sale and leaseback facility for six factory new Airbus H145D3 helicopters in emergency medical services configuration, including two options.

These latest portfolio additions expand Nova’s owned and managed fleet to 89 Helicopters and 14 fixed-wing aircraft, with a combined total value surpassing US$ 500 million.

All of the factory new H145D3 will be the latest variants including the new five blade rotor technology. They will join 41 existing Nova helicopters that are already deployed in Europe on EMS missions. Each of the new aircraft will benefit from a long-term lease contract, and maintenance support programs from Airbus Helicopters and Safran Helicopter Engines.

Deliveries are scheduled to occur from December 2021 to April 2022.

Olivier Piot, founder and CEO of Nova Capital Group commented, “We are delighted to further re-enforce our presence in the European EMS market with these state-of- the-art assets. These brand new “five blade” H145D3’s really bring the most modern, and best in class equipment to our valued customers, and are a long-term and resilient investment from our perspective.
