Pula Aviation Services Limited (PASL) has further expanded its portfolio of aviation businesses with the acquisition of UK based aircraft spare parts distributor Airpart Supply Limited.
The acquisition sees PASL broaden the scope of B2B services it provides to GA, business aviation and the airline sector.
As an established aircraft parts supplier, Airpart’s network and ideal location provides distribution services for leading aircraft component and equipment manufacturers which supports customers worldwide.
Steve Page, CEO of PASL, said, “At PASL, we are focussed on growing our position in business aviation and we are delighted to be broadening our capabilities with the acquisition of Airpart which has valuable synergies with the rest of the group. This deal presents us with exciting new opportunities for growth.”
Tanya Raynes, PASL’s non-executive Chair said “This strategic acquisition demonstrates our commitment to grow PASL into a diverse, highly capable and profitable aviation enterprise. 2022 will be an exciting year with significant opportunities ahead of us.”
Airpart founders David McHugh and Rob Allen will be staying on with the business in a leadership capacity, ably supported by a strong second tier management team ensuring a seamless transition of company ownership and business as usual for customers, suppliers, and staff. The founders will be providing their experience in conjunction with PASL’s expertise and investment strength to support the future growth and development of Airpart.
David McHugh said, “The combination of Airpart’s people and position in the market, backed by PASL and their resources makes a formidable team. It is clear both companies share the same culture, ethos, and approach to business. This new structure will allow Airpart to take full advantage of the opportunities ahead. We are excited to be able to accelerate several current projects, including an increased presence in the European mainland. We look forward to continuing successful growth offering expanded scope for both customers and the manufacturers we proudly support and represent.”
Airpart will be joining PASL’s other operating companies Centreline and ASG in the group.
