ArcosJet, a Dubai-based global aircraft brokerage firm, announced its purchase of shares in Air Chateau, a private heliport operator company, as part of a plan to develop a large-scale helicopter project in UAE. Air Chateau owns a heliport at the VIP Terminal in Al Maktoum International Airport, which will serve as a foundation of an all-round ecosystem to operate and service privately owned helicopters.
“We see an unfilled market niche in developing private helicopter infrastructure in the UAE,” says Mikhail Alenkin, ArcosJet Founder and CEO. “Together with Air Chateau and with support of the government of Dubai, we expect to unite heliports across the Emirates into one network with Dubai South and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), which will greatly improve door-to-door accessibility of the entire area for UHNWIs. In doing so, we will place priority on state-of-the-art technology-driven innovative solutions with an emphasis on sustainable development”
“Each step we take in bringing Air Chateau to life fills me with profound pride”, said Dr. Samir Mohamed, Air Chateau’s Founder and Chairman. “Our vision resonates with the remarkable progress witnessed in Dubai and the UAE over the decades. Air Chateau is poised to lead the charge in transforming the aviation landscape within the UAE, setting new benchmarks for excellence and innovation in helicopter services. I am genuinely thrilled to be part of this ongoing journey, actively contributing to our nation’s enduring growth and development.”
“Creating an all-round ecosystem to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient helicopter operations should meet the current demand on the part of the transport system, passengers, and helicopter owners to improve accessibility and passenger mobility in Dubai and the UAE”, said Shilton Tony Irudayaraj, Air Chateau Co-Founder & CEO. “Today, we are confident that our partnership with ArcosJet is a new step that allows us to move further along that path.”
