Jet Aviation announced that Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace is now available for operators. The online jobs portal provides a digital platform for matching prospective employees and hiring teams with open roles in the aviation industry. Jet Aviation collaborated with Portside, a technology solutions provider, to develop Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace.
The web-based and mobile application is designed to streamline the process of matching aviation professionals with posted job openings. The portal launched for candidates earlier this year and is now available for business aviation companies and operators searching for candidates for open contract, hourly and direct hire positions.
“We are delighted to launch this innovative digital recruitment tool for the aviation industry,” says Elaine Lapotosky, Jet Aviation’s vice president staffing. “As technology continues to evolve in our industry and beyond, we saw a need to provide candidates and hiring teams with a streamlined, digital, and automated platform that replaced a largely manual process. Earlier this year we launched to candidates, providing an online platform for them to build a robust profile and seamlessly search and apply for new jobs. This next phase opens the tool up to business aviation operators, who now have access to a digitized talent pool that is automatically refined according to their requirements, allowing them to effortlessly and efficiently match the right person to the right role.”
Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace brings all aspects of the recruitment process into one centralized digital platform, including application review, tracking, contract, and payroll.
Additional payroll support is available through a partnership with Papaya, a global payroll solutions specialist.
“The Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace streamlines a process that has usually been plagued by inefficiencies,” says Alek Vernitsky, Portside’s CEO. “We’re proud to have partnered with Jet Aviation Staffing to develop a tool that has potential to transform the hiring process for the entire aviation industry.”
