GAMA Welcome Six New Memberships

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) announced the additions of AVEX Aviation, Elixir Aircraft and Game Composites as Members, AutoFlight USA as an Associate Member, and Eve Air Mobility and Wing as Associate Members EPIC.  

AVEX Aviation is based in Camarillo, California, and was founded in 1985. They specialize in the service and sales of Daher’s TBM aircraft. AVEX utilizes state of the art equipment and meticulously trained technicians to provide unparalleled support to the aircraft they service.

Elixir Aviation, is a French aircraft manufacturer based in La Rochelle, France. The company designs, produces and maintains a two-seater Part 23 aircraft made for training and travelling. The aircraft has a 3 gal/hr average fuel consumption (912iS), OneShot carbon structures, spin-resistant behavior to fight against loss of control, and a crash-worthy fuel tank. With its 4th generation aircraft, the company offers a brand-new design addressing today’s general aviation challenges.

Game Composites, founded 2013 and based in Bentonville, Arkansas, has developed, certified and is producing the GB1 GameBird, an all-composite airplane Part 23 certified in the acrobatic category by FAA and EASA. The GameBird is in production since 2019 under an FAA Production Certificate and 50 have been completed and delivered to customers to date. Game Composites is currently expanding its team, facilities and product lines.

AutoFlight’s U.S. business unit is based in California with global headquarters in Shanghai, China and locations in Germany. They are focused on developing and manufacturing autonomous eVTOL aircraft with a primary mission to provide safe and reliable aerial logistics systems and urban air mobility solutions for people.

Eve Air Mobility is dedicated to accelerating the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem across the globe. Benefitting from a start-up mindset, backed by Embraer’s more than 50-year history of aerospace expertise, and with a singular focus, Eve is taking a holistic approach to progressing the UAM ecosystem with an advanced eVTOL project, comprehensive global service and support network and a unique air traffic management solution.

Wing is part of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, founded in 2012. Wing graduated from X to become an independent Alphabet business in July 2018. Since then, Wing launched a first-of-its-kind, on-demand service on three continents, delivering everything from medicine and library books, to hot coffees and fresh cookies to customers in Australia, Finland, and the United States.
