UK summer holidays boost Mediterranean routes

The UK’s summer holiday season is driving strong business aviation demand to popular Mediterranean destinations. During July, UK business jet activity increased 2% compared to the same month last year, with particularly robust growth on leisure routes. Key summer destinations saw significant upticks: flights to Mallorca rose 13% to 178 flights, Faro grew 5% to 139 flights, and Olbia surged 36% to 117 flights. This seasonal traffic pattern underscores how leisure travel continues to be a major driver of business aviation demand during peak holiday periods.
