ArcosJet, the exclusive authorized dealer for private sales of the Lilium Jet in the UAE, Israel and Cyprus, is seeing high customer acceptance of the eVTOL concept and technology and expects the emerging new market niche to provide the strongest impetus for the development of related technologies, services and businesses in the near future. The announcement was made at the Revolution.Aero industry conference, which is taking place June 18-19 in London.
Mikhail Alenkin, ArcosJet Founder and CEO, shared his experience and vision at the Selling Advanced Aircraft panel discussion. The panelists discussed market development and prospects, deal structure and shared approaches to understanding original and residual value.
ArcosJet has been running the Lilium Jet sales in the UAE, Cyprus and Israel since last year and has already gained a lot of experience with prospective customers and gathered substantial feedback.
"We are inspired by the fact that we hardly notice any doubts about eVTOLs as a completely new class of aircraft. The main issues for discussion are the practicalities of operation and infrastructure," said Mikhail Alenkin.
The company believes that the emergence of eVTOLs is inevitable, and one of the leaders and drivers of this market will be the Lilium Jet, the first all-electric vertical take-off and landing jet, developed since 2015 by Lilium N.V. (NASDAQ: LILM), whose headquarters and manufacturing facilities are in Munich, Germany, with teams based across Europe and the U.S.
ArcosJet also considers the development of infrastructure, its expansion and unification as a key point of successful launch of the eVTOLs market. The company is actively involved in such infrastructure projects. In particular, in October 2023, ArcosJet invested in Air Chateau, an UAE-based private heliport operator company, as part of a project to create an all-round ecosystem to operate and service private helicopters and eVTOLs.
