A steady rise in flight traffic was recorded leading up to and over the President’s Day weekend (February 17-21st).
"We saw a decline in flight activity post-holiday before we settled back into our typical increase in traffic toward the end of the week. We expect this upward trend to continue over the next few days as large portions of the US are expecting high pressure and subsequent fair weather," said Travis Kuhn, VP of Marketing Intelligence with ARGUS International.
Stat of the week: President’s Day weekend saw a dramatic increase in flight activity; up 46% from February 2021 and 24% from February 2020. As we enter March, flight activity trends continue to exceed pre-pandemic activity!
