The ARGUS Monday Minute: April 11, 2022

Business aviation flight activity saw an increase across the board for the first week of April 2022. Each day of the week was up an average of 800 flights from the previous week.

Stat of the week: The 2022 Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia, that took place from April 7-10, brought a tremendous increase in flight activity at the three main airports serving the tournament. Aiken Regional Airport (KAIK) saw an 883% increase in flights week over week in the days leading up to the tournament (TUE, WED, THR). Similarly, Augusta Regional Airport (KAGS) saw a 619% increase and Daniel Field (KDNL) saw a 531% increase in flight activity in this same period.
