At the start of April (1st – 7th), global bizjet sectors are 2% ahead of comparable last year, trailing 2022 by 4%, 37% ahead of 5 years ago. Over the same period, scheduled airline activity is 24% ahead year-on-year, 12% ahead of 2019. Dedicated cargo sectors start this month are 3% ahead of last year, 18% ahead of 2019.

Switzerland-based charter provider CAT Aviation AG selected Satcom Direct, the business aviation solutions provider, to equip the first Dassault Falcon 6X to enter service with a suite of connectivity solutions. The “nose-to-tail” portfolio of solutions includes a flight-deck communication datalink delivered through the SD FlightDeck Freedom service and a dual cabin connectivity service that optimizes Iridium voice capabilities in parallel with Jet ConneX, the high-speed broadband service connected with the Viasat Global Xpress constellation.

Lilium N.V., developer of the first all-electric vertical take-off and landing (“eVTOL”) jet, announced that it has received the first set of standby flight instruments from Garmin, a leading provider of avionics solutions. The deliveries, which follow the multi-year supplier contract signed by Lilium and Garmin in 2023, will be integrated into the first Lilium Jets being produced and the Lilium Jet flight simulator, used for pilot training.
