At the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Lufthansa Technik is presenting a pre-launch of a brand new VIP cabin concept for the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 777-9.

ExecuJet MRO Services has been appointed by Embraer as its authorised service centre (ASC) for business jets in Africa.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced the all-new Gulfstream G700 continues to make flight test milestones toward certification and subsequent customer deliveries. The aircraft recently accomplished several certification test points in coordination with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), all of which confirm the aircraft’s exceptional performance characteristics.

Textron Aviation announced that the 100th production unit of the company’s flagship Cessna Citation Longitude business jet rolled out of the factory and is expected to deliver later this year.

Bombardier presented the progress made on its EcoJet research project, a research platform that aims to develop technologies with the goal of reducing aircraft emissions through a combination of advanced aerodynamics and propulsion enhancements.

Global Jet Capital, a global leader in financial solutions for business aircraft, released its annual Business Jet Market Forecast today. In the updated report, the company projects continued growth for the next five years. The forecast also contains insights and projections for the business aviation market through 2027, including breakdowns of new deliveries and pre-owned transactions. The high level of detail in the report is based on outputs generated by Global Jet Capital’s proprietary transaction forecast model.

Textron Aviation announced the newest Cessna Citation business jet in the legendary 560XL series — the Cessna Citation Ascend. Unveiled on the eve of this week’s European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE), the Citation Ascend is designed to bring an entirely new cockpit, improved performance and a more luxurious cabin to the midsize business jet market. Attendees will enjoy access to a new Citation Ascend mock up debuting during the show. Currently under development, the aircraft is expected to enter into service in 2025.

Boeing announced today orders for up to four premium, ultra-long-range Boeing Business Jets (BBJ). The orders to undisclosed VIP customers include two BBJ 787-8s, one BBJ 737-7 jet and an option to purchase a BBJ 777-9.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced the all-new ultralong-range Gulfstream G800 has made its Continental debut, arriving in Geneva for the 2023 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2023).

Honda Aircraft Company today debuted the company’s latest innovation, the HondaJet Elite II, for the first time at the 2023 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.

FAI Aviation Group, Germany’s leading global provider of mission-critical aviation services, offering fixed-wing air ambulance, special missions, charter and aircraft management, as well as full MRO services returns to EBACE this week in buoyant mood.  The company, now in its 36th year, opened FAI Technik’s new maintenance base at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in February and business has kept solid into 2023 across its business.

Honeywell launched the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) industry’s first certification reference guide across key vehicle segments. Complex regulations are being developed to enable the certification and operations of crewed and uncrewed AAM vehicles designed to transport people and cargo. Until now, there had been no place these regulations had been comprehensively tracked.

With 50 percent of the TFE731-powered Learjets in Australia enrolled with EAP, the company is poised for further international growth based on its responsive service, robust rental engine pool and significant spare parts inventory.

Flying Colours Corp., the North American maintenance, repair, overhaul, and completions business, is attracting increased interest from European business aircraft owners and operators seeking a single source of capabilities for multi-faceted maintenance and refurbishment work.

Nearly six months on from ALTEA’s insight into the pre-owned business jet marketplace, the specialist consulting firm examines their predictions as the business aviation industry plans to gather at EBACE (European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition) in Geneva in just a few days’ time.

UAS  has entered a strategic partnership with flight support solutions provider Flystar that will see UAS expand its global network of onsite supervisors into the heart of the Balkans.  

TAG Aviation has added 4 new aircraft to its European fleet so far this year.  They include a Bombardier Global 7500, Gulfstream 550 and 2 Embraer Phenom 300E’s.  The G7500 & G550 will be based in the UK operated privately, the Phenom 300E’s will be available for charter one in Geneva and one in Zurich.
