VistaJet, the first and only global business aviation company, has renewed its commitment to cleaner aviation, its pledge to be carbon neutral by 2025, and its resolve to address sustainability issues in the industry. To capture the progress the company has made with its market-leading environmental sustainability initiatives, VistaJet has published “A 2022 Action Handbook for Change in Business Aviation”.

At this year’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE), Luxaviation, one of the largest private aircraft operators in the world headquartered in Luxembourg, announced the addition of the Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 aircraft, the first of the most recent model in Europe, to better serve our clients.

Textron Aviation announced at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland, that it has earned European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification for the Cessna Citation XLS Gen2 business jet. The company is set to make its first European delivery of the XLS Gen2 to Porsche Air Service GmbH of Salzburg, Austria, in the coming weeks.

Bombardier announced it has expanded its Line Maintenance Station (LMS) at Le Bourget Airport near Paris to increase its maintenance and repair services for European customers. Bombardier announced today that it has published an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for the industry’s leading super mid-size business jet, the Challenger 3500 aircraft.  Following Bombardier’s recent groundwork on making the Global 7500 aircraft the first business jet ever to receive an EPD, the Challenger 3500 aircraft is the first business jet in the super mid-size segment to have an EPD published.

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) published the First Quarter 2022 General Aviation Aircraft Shipment and Billing Report. The aircraft manufacturing industry’s results for the first three months of 2022, when compared to the same period in 2021, point to increasing aircraft unit deliveries across each aircraft segment while the overall value of the aircraft shipments was slightly lower.
