The Aircraft Electronics Association released its first-quarter 2023 Avionics Market Report. In the first three months of the year, total worldwide business and general aviation avionics sales amounted to $777,640,387.48, or more than $777 million as reported by the participating companies.

New research by Horizon Aircraft (“Company” or “Horizon”), a Canadian based innovative leader in hybrid electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) aerial vehicles, reveals Canada is seeing strong growth in its business aviation sector. In 2022, there were 182,354 business aircraft departures in Canada, which was 35.63% more than in 2019 (before the pandemic) when the corresponding figure was 134,445. Globally, there was a rise of 16.78% in the number of business aircraft departures between these two years.

During this year’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE), Textron Aviation welcomed IFM Traviation GmbH as its latest Cessna Citation Longitude customer in Europe. The Düsseldorf-based customer placed an order for a Cessna Citation Longitude business jet, set to deliver in 2025. This order will boost the company’s existing fleet of two Cessna Citation Sovereign+ aircraft.


The Milestone Aviation Group Limited (“Milestone”), the global leader in helicopter leasing, today announced it has sold a Sikorsky S-92 helicopter to Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sendirian Berhad. The S-92 is configured for passenger transport and is intended for offshore oil and gas missions in Brunei, Borneo.

Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) has signed a partnership agreement with CTT, a Swedish specialist on humidity control products for aviation to equip the ACJ TwoTwenty with a state of the art cabin humidification system.
