Universal Aviation Singapore, based at Seletar Airport (WSSL), has earned Stage 3 accreditaton under the International Standard for Business Aviation Handling (IS-BAH).

Bell Textron announced that the Bell 505 achieved 100,000 global fleet hours. Since the first Bell 505 customer delivery in 2017, Bell has completed more than 360 Bell 505 global deliveries, enabling successful missions with the world’s most advanced short light single aircraft.

Airbus Helicopters customer HeliOtago has recently achieved 2,000 flight hours with its H145 in the first two years of its operation. The H145 entered into service in the South Island of New Zealand in 2019 and in its support of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) missions, the aircraft has achieved a dispatch rate of 100%, with an availability rate of 98%.

Textron Aviation announced the rollout of the first production unit of the twin-engine, large-utility turboprop, the Cessna SkyCourier, at the company’s manufacturing facility in Wichita. The new, clean-sheet design has allowed for the incorporation of the latest state-of-the-art assembly and fabrication processes and techniques into the manufacturing of the aircraft.

In 2021, Swiss Air-Rescue Rega came to the assistance of more than 12,000 people for the first time. The Rega helicopters were in the air particularly frequently, but the three ambulance jets also recorded more missions than in the previous year.
