London Biggin Hill Airport is now accepting international flights from red-listed countries after receiving UK Government approval as a national entry-point for England.

From time to time JET MS, a business and regional aircraft MRO, faces a unique challenge or takes part in a never-before seen project. Now, together with its parent company Avia Solutions Group, JET MS have “landed” an aircraft in an office building.

Italian aircraft manufacturer, Tecnam, has announced a partnership with London Biggin Hill-based Oriens Aviation to market the whole Tecnam fleet and its ultimate twin-engine Tecnam P2012 series in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

Air Charter Service (ACS) has seen global private jet business travel booking numbers for the first quarter of 2021 reach 76% of 2019 levels – exceeding its original forecast. This suggests that the recovery of business travel is progressing to such an extent that bookings could increase beyond ACS’s prediction of eventually resuming to 85% of pre-pandemic levels this year.

Flight Consulting Group has joined the German Business Aviation Association (GBAA) that has more than 90 members representing the leaders of the European business aviation market. The membership in the GBAA will help Flight Consulting Group to strengthen its position in Europe, expand its services across the key region – Germany, and join forces with the GBAA members for the success of the business aviation industry.

Beacon announced that it has signed an agreement with ABS Jets, an executive operator and maintenance organization from the Czech Republic. The agreement is focused on integrating Beacon as its dedicated maintenance coordination platform to accelerate return-to-service time.

The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) announced FlightSafety International has joined as an IBAC Industry Partner. Airbus Helicopters, in cooperation with DRF Luftrettung, has performed the first retrofit of a four-bladed H145 into the new five-bladed version. The helicopter, an H145 of the German HEMS operator, was first delivered in 2018 and will be deployed at DRF’s base in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany.

With rapid vaccine rollouts and loosening restrictions in some of private aviation’s core markets, charter demand is returning as we head into summer.
