Bombardier announced the official inauguration of its new Miami-Opa Locka Service Centre at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF) in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Zeusch Aviation BV, the Netherlands-based aerial services provider, has confirmed receipt of its Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) on 24 October 2022. The AOC approval was granted by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Netherlands and enables Zeusch to deploy four of its fleet of seven King Air aircraft for medevac and charter flights.

The Certification Management Team (CMT), comprised of leaders from four civil aviation authorities, has published a strategy to develop and implement policies that streamline certification. The team includes the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC) of Brazil, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA). The FAA and EASA also have established a bilateral Validation Improvement Roadmap (VIR) that defines the specific bilateral initiatives.

European business aviation flight activity continues to decline as we approach the end of October. We observed a 4.5% decline in traffic between the second and third week of the month. This same time last year we observed a 0.5% increase in flights.

Textron Aviation today announced it has entered into a purchase agreement with Exclusive Jets, LLC, operating as flyExclusive, for up to 14 additional Cessna Citation business jets. flyExclusive has agreed to purchase eight Cessna Citation XLS Gen2 aircraft to be delivered in 2024, and up to six Citation Longitudes, with initial deliveries of the first two Longitude aircraft expected in 2025. These aircraft will provide customers of flyExclusive’s fractional program additional options in the midsize and super-midsize segments.

Honeywell's 31st annual Global Business Aviation Outlook forecasts up to 8,500 new business jet deliveries worth $274 billion from 2023 to 2032, which is up 15% in both deliveries and expenditures from the same 10-year forecast a year ago. This year, surveyed operators reported new jet purchase plans on par with 2019 levels, with fleet addition rates doubling from last year's reported intentions. Respondents' feedback in this year's survey aligns with industry reports of sold-out business jet production lines for the next several years.
