Jet Aviation announced that it has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the methodology and analysis used by the completion center in certifying interior installations on Boeing 787 aircraft. This is the first STC of this type to be granted to a completion center worldwide.

Part 125 certification was developed by the FAA to establish a uniform set of certification and operational rules for large aircraft with a seating capacity of 20 or more passengers. The company used a Boeing 787 aircraft as its prototype in the Part 125 filing process.

The pre-owned business aircraft market saw a 7% increase in sales volume in Q1 2021 over Q1 2020, while Ask Prices were down nearly 6%, reports the Asset Insight AI2 Market Report. Overall demand remained unchanged over Q4 2020, but increased nearly 44% compared to Q1 2020. The Q1 AI2 Market Report covers 134 fixed-wing models and 1,661 aircraft listed for sale.
