Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced the super-midsize Gulfstream G280 has been cleared for operations at France’s Airport of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez located in La Môle. The aircraft recently flew several takeoff and landing demonstrations at the short-field airport.

The Aircraft Electronics Association released its first-quarter 2023 Avionics Market Report. In the first three months of the year, total worldwide business and general aviation avionics sales amounted to $777,640,387.48, or more than $777 million as reported by the participating companies.

New research by Horizon Aircraft (“Company” or “Horizon”), a Canadian based innovative leader in hybrid electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) aerial vehicles, reveals Canada is seeing strong growth in its business aviation sector. In 2022, there were 182,354 business aircraft departures in Canada, which was 35.63% more than in 2019 (before the pandemic) when the corresponding figure was 134,445. Globally, there was a rise of 16.78% in the number of business aircraft departures between these two years.
